HEUCOSIN® pigments are pigment compositions consisting of organic and inorganic pigments and extenders which have been mainly developed for paints and coatings.
Accordingly the fastness properties of the pigment components are very good. The pigment selection guarantees outstanding properties as regards light and weathering fastness, resistance to migration, solvents and chemicals. The colour range concentrates on frequently used RAL - shades which are available from stock. On demand Heubach can also produce and deliver customer specific grades.
HEUCOSIN® - pigments are not just conventional pigment mixes. The different components of a colour shade are powdery mixed and milled in a three step process whereby the pigment surfaces are mechanically fixed to each other. By means of this mixing technique, we are able to achieve an exceptionally homogeneous structure of the mix.
Additionally each produced lot is colorimetrically checked against a standard lot and adjusted if necessary. By this way, we can correct colour shade variations of the different pigment components. In a paint film tendencies to floating and flooding mostly do not occur. Using HEUCOSIN® the paint maker achieves completely even colourings with only little effort.
