Major Company timeline achievements
1991 Tradechem is founded as a private family company offering consultancy services to multinational corporations such as ICI Chemicals and Orica Chemicals. In 1992 Tradechem signs its first chemical distribution agreement with the United Kingdom. During the years 1993 to 1999 Tradechem’s sales grew between 276% and 806%. These results accorded Tradechem consecutive annual awards in Business Review Weekly Magazine (BRW Fast 100 list) and Price Waterhouse Coopers award for the fastest growing private business in Australia. These awards included an 11th place. |

"When we founded Tradechem, we did so with great expectations but also with considerable trepidation. We were highly dependent on the support of a small number of suppliers and customers. Management was forced to become multi-skilled overnight. However we did have highly enthusiastic people excited with the prospects of building a new company. Tradechem has grown in a market that has seen many changes JIT, ISO9000, MRPII, Internet, E-mail, Worksafe and Responsible Care are now familiar terms.
